The Ferrari 458 Speciale uses the 4,497 cc naturally aspirated V8, which at 135 PS per litre was the most power-dense atmospheric engine Ferrari had built, rated at 605 PS (445 kW) at 9,000 rpm and 540 Nm, with a seven-speed F1 dual-clutch gearbox driving the rear wheels. The Speciale is the stripped 458: 90 kg lighter, with active aerodynamics front and rear, Side Slip Angle Control that lets the car drift under electronic supervision, and the highest specific output of any naturally aspirated road engine of its day.
Ferrari has built its cars at Maranello since 1943 and casts its own engines on site. The V8 line runs from the 308 to the 296, the V12 from the 250 to the 12Cilindri, and the Tailor Made and Atelier programmes will trim a car to an owner's order.
Ferrari showed the 458 Speciale in 2013, the last of the line that began with the 360 Challenge Stradale and continued with the 430 Scuderia. It is the last mid-engined Ferrari V8 without a turbocharger.

Alain Class Motors, a professional dealer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. LUSSO lists the car and passes enquiries to that dealer; the inspection, the negotiation, the invoice and the transfer of ownership all take place directly between the buyer and the dealer. LUSSO does not hold stock, take deposits or act as an intermediary in payment.
The car is at Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and an inspection is arranged with the selling dealer. Buyers based in another country commonly appoint an independent inspector or a marque specialist rather than travel. Ask the dealer for the service record, the number of previous owners and any accident history: LUSSO does not publish these and cannot confirm them.
LUSSO republishes what the selling dealer advertises, and a car in demand is sometimes reserved or sold before the dealer updates its own site. Confirm current availability with Alain Class Motors before travelling or committing funds. An enquiry sent from this page reaches that dealer directly.
A cross-border registration normally requires the vehicle registration document, the certificate of conformity or an equivalent type-approval record, the purchase invoice showing the VAT treatment, and proof that any tax due in the destination country has been settled. Temporary export plates and transport insurance are arranged either by the dealer or by the buyer. Requirements differ by country and should be confirmed with the selling dealer before payment.
LUSSO publishes a market overview for the 458 Speciale, covering current asking prices in Europe, availability by country, why prices differ, how VAT works on a cross-border purchase and what to compare between two cars.
