A Roma Spider delivered new with 50 kilometres, in Nero DS over a Cuoio cabin in two-tone leather, on 20 inch diamond polished forged wheels.

The 3,855 cm³ twin-turbo V8 is quoted by the dealer at 620 PS, 456 kW, driving the rear wheels through an automatic gearbox. The Roma Spider is the open version of the Roma, and it matters for one reason: Ferrari gave it a fabric soft top rather than a folding hard roof, something the company had not done on a front-engined car since the Daytona Spider.

The car is specified for touring rather than for track work. MagneRide dual mode suspension, front radar with adaptive cruise control, a rear radar, active matrix LED headlights, a front camera, an electrochromic rear view mirror and the neck warmer that makes the roof worth lowering.

Inside, ventilated full electric seats in a squared pattern with seat backs in leather, the seat centres in extended range leather, a two-tone leather cabin, the Cavallino stitched into the headrests and embroidered again on the rear seats, coloured stitching, inner colour details in the chosen colour, a leather steering wheel in a chosen colour, a carbon fibre steering wheel with LEDs, the upper centre console and the dashboard trim in carbon fibre.

Outside, yellow brake calipers, exhaust tips in black ceramic, Scuderia Ferrari shields and a chosen soft top colour.

Equipment covers the high power hi-fi system, the smartphone interface and wireless charging.
