About the Aston Martin DB AR1

Zagato drew the body with Henrik Fisker on the full-length chassis of the DB7 Vantage Volante; keeping the wheelbase spared the car a new type approval in the United States. It is a strict two-seater built without a roof of any kind.

Like every DB7, it was built at Bloxham, Oxfordshire, while Ford owned Aston Martin. Shown at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January 2003, it was made in 99 examples for sale, plus one for the factory collection, and offered only in the United States.
