About the Aston Martin Vantage

Vantage began in 1972 as a model of its own, a straight-six DBS built in 71 examples, then served for decades as the designation of the sharper cars in the range. It became a model again with the 2005 car, which ran twelve years, and with the 2018 generation on an aluminium platform shared with the DB11, front mid-engine and rear-wheel drive with a 50/50 balance.

The 2018 Vantage carries the 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 from Mercedes-AMG, at 510 PS and then 665 after the 2024 revision, with a 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 at 700 PS on some versions. A seven-speed Graziano manual and an eight-speed ZF automatic have both been offered. Aston Martin was founded in 1913 and built at Newport Pagnell until 2007, then at Gaydon.
