Austin Healey 100-6 for Sale

The 100/6 replaced the four-cylinder 100 with a six from the Austin saloons, which added weight at the front and took the edge off the acceleration until the six-port head restored it. The wheelbase grew by fifty millimetres to make room for two occasional seats. The windscreen folds flat against the bonnet on the earlier cars, and the side screens slot into the doors rather than winding down, which is how a British sports car of the fifties was made.

Donald Healey designed the car and Austin built it, at Longbridge and then at Abingdon, from 1956 to 1959. The line ended with the 3000 in 1967, and no Austin-Healey has been made since.
