About the Jaguar XJS

The May 1991 facelift, under Ford ownership, dropped the hyphen from the name, fitted frameless side windows and tinted tail lights and kept the rear buttresses; outboard rear brakes followed in 1993. From model year 1993 the bumpers are body-coloured and a driver's airbag is fitted.

Jaguar built the XJ-S and XJS from 1975 to 1996, 115,413 cars in all, before the XK8 took over.
