Jaguar XK120 for Sale

The separate chassis carries Heynes-designed independent front suspension on torsion bars, semi-elliptic leaf springs at the rear, recirculating-ball steering and 12-inch drum brakes all round. The drophead coupé, added in 1953, has wind-up windows, a lined folding hood and a wooden dashboard, and 1,767 were built out of 12,055 XK120s.

Jaguar built the XK120 from 1948 to 1954, first at Holbrook Lane and then at Browns Lane in Coventry; its name stood for 120 mph, and a modified car reached 172.412 mph at Jabbeke in October 1953.
