About the Lamborghini Miura P400

The monocoque places the V12 across the car ahead of the rear axle. Wishbones and coil springs sit at each corner, with Girling disc brakes and rack-and-pinion steering. The P400 predates the power windows and overhead rocker-switch console added on the P400S.

Giampaolo Dallara, Paolo Stanzani and Bob Wallace developed it in their spare time, and Marcello Gandini styled it at Bertone. Lamborghini built 275 P400s at Sant'Agata Bolognese between 1966 and 1969.
