Overview about this Lamborghini Miura P400 for sale

The Miura of 1966 is generally credited with inventing the modern supercar, less for its figures than for its layout: a transverse V12 mounted amidships, behind the cabin, where the class had always put the engine at the front.

Lamborghini built 474 P400s between 1966 and 1969 before the S and the SV. This car was delivered in spring 1968 with the thicker chassis introduced during production for stiffness, in Verde Miura over Gobi leather, to the Lamborghini dealer Righetti in Vicenza.

Its early Italian ownership is documented through the Kidston SA archive: Nicoletta Poli bought it in May 1968 and registered it in Milan, and it passed a few months later to Dr Vittorio Giusto in Padua, who went on to own a P400 S as well.

This Lamborghini Miura P400 is offered for sale. The car is finished in Verde Miura with a Gobi interior.

FAQ

This Lamborghini Miura P400 in the European market

How this car sits against the other Lamborghini Miura P400 advertised in Europe on 2026, and what to settle before a cross-border purchase.

Can this Lamborghini be bought in the United States and registered elsewhere in Europe?

The car is located in Miami, United States. The dealer has not stated whether the price is quoted gross, net of VAT for export, or under the margin scheme. Cross-border purchase is normal for this kind of car, but the documentation, the certificate of conformity, transport and the registration rules of the destination country all have to be settled with the selling dealer first.

Who is selling this Lamborghini Miura P400, and how does a purchase work?

Schaltkulisse GmbH, a professional dealer in Miami, United States. LUSSO lists the car and passes enquiries to that dealer; the inspection, the negotiation, the invoice and the transfer of ownership all take place directly between the buyer and the dealer. LUSSO does not hold stock, take deposits or act as an intermediary in payment.

Can this Lamborghini Miura P400 be inspected before purchase?

The car is at Miami, United States, and an inspection is arranged with the selling dealer. Buyers based in another country commonly appoint an independent inspector or a marque specialist rather than travel. Ask the dealer for the service record, the number of previous owners and any accident history: LUSSO does not publish these and cannot confirm them.

Is this Lamborghini Miura P400 still available?

LUSSO republishes what the selling dealer advertises, and a car in demand is sometimes reserved or sold before the dealer updates its own site. Confirm current availability with Schaltkulisse GmbH before travelling or committing funds. An enquiry sent from this page reaches that dealer directly.

What is needed to register this car if it does not stay in the United States?

A cross-border registration normally requires the vehicle registration document, the certificate of conformity or an equivalent type-approval record, the purchase invoice showing the VAT treatment, and proof that any tax due in the destination country has been settled. Temporary export plates and transport insurance are arranged either by the dealer or by the buyer. Requirements differ by country and should be confirmed with the selling dealer before payment.

Where can I see the wider Lamborghini market?

LUSSO publishes a market overview for the Miura P400, covering current asking prices in Europe, availability by country, why prices differ, how VAT works on a cross-border purchase and what to compare between two cars. See the Lamborghini market overview
