About the McLaren 765LT Spider

The structure is a MonoCage II carbon fibre monocoque with aluminium subframes front and rear, the layout rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive. It is the open version of the 765LT, itself the lightened 720S: 1,388 kg dry, and 765 cars built, as many as the coupé.

McLaren Automotive has built every road car on a carbon fibre tub since the MP4-12C of 2011, and splits its range into the Sports Series, the Super Series and the Ultimate Series. The LT badge, revived from the F1 GTR Longtail, marks the lightened and shorter-geared versions.
