Mercedes-AMG GT R for Sale

The structure is an aluminium spaceframe with a magnesium front deck, the engine set behind the front axle and the gearbox over the rear one. The GT R adds an active aerodynamic element under the nose that drops at speed, rear-axle steering, a coil-over suspension and traction control adjustable across nine settings by a dial on the console.

Mercedes-AMG has been based at Affalterbach since 1976 and belonged to Daimler outright since 2005. Its rule of one man, one engine puts the builder's signature plate on each hand-assembled V8 and V12, and the GT and the SLS are the cars AMG designed from the ground up rather than reworked.
