Sold Ferrari 488 Pista Spider Cars

The structure is an aluminium spaceframe, the engine set behind the cabin, with double wishbones at the front and a multi-link rear axle. The Pista sheds 90 kg against the standard 488 with carbon wheels, Lexan rear screen and a carbon bonnet, and the Spider keeps the folding hardtop, which stows in fourteen seconds.

Ferrari has built its cars at Maranello since 1943 and casts its own engines on site. The V8 line runs from the 308 to the 296, the V12 from the 250 to the 12Cilindri, and the Tailor Made and Atelier programmes will trim a car to an owner's order.
