About the Aston Martin Vanquish S

The bonded aluminium composite chassis has a carbon fibre backbone developed with Lotus. The S adds stiffer suspension, revised steering and 378 mm front discs with six-piston calipers, while a new nose and raised boot lid spoiler cut the drag coefficient to 0.32. The cabin came in 2+0 or 2+2 seating, trimmed in leather with metal details in place of wood.

Designed by Ian Callum, the Vanquish S was built by hand at Newport Pagnell, with 1,086 made from 2004 to 2007. Its production ended on 19 July 2007 with the closure of the factory after 49 years.
