The Speciale takes fifty kilograms out of the 296 GTB, down to 1,410 kg, and adds fifty horsepower. The turbochargers sit inside the vee, which is what the 120-degree bank angle is for: it leaves room between the cylinder banks and lowers the centre of gravity.
Ferrari announced the Speciale in April 2025, above the 296 GTB, and builds it at Maranello as a coupé and as an open Aperta. It follows the line of the 360 Challenge Stradale, the 430 Scuderia and the 458 Speciale, each a lighter and harder version of the car it came from.
The available examples are all from the 2026 model year. The median odometer reading is 100 km, and 8 of the 8 listings that state it show under 10,000 km. 3 examples are listed as new and 5 as used. The most common exterior colours are black (3), red (2) and green (1).
Across the listings in this selection, the Ferrari 296 Speciale is quoted at 880 hp, coupé and 2 seats. These are the figures dealers declare, not a reconstructed factory specification.
8 Ferrari 296 Speciale are currently listed by 5 dealers across 5 countries. Prices run from €439,950 to €660,000, with a median of €563,344. These figures are converted to euros for comparison; each listing stays priced in the dealer's own currency.
