About the Ferrari Testarossa

Pininfarina drew the Testarossa for the 1984 Paris show as the successor to the Berlinetta Boxer; the side strakes feed two rear-mounted radiators, which is why the car is so wide across the tail. Ferrari built 7,177 before the 512 TR of 1992.

Ferrari has built its cars at Maranello since 1943 and casts its own engines on site. The V8 line runs from the 308 to the 296, the V12 from the 250 to the 12Cilindri, and the Tailor Made and Atelier programmes will trim a car to an owner's order.
