About the Ferrari 575

The Revocromico roof is one panel of carbon fibre and electrochromic glass, hinged at the rear: it turns through 180 degrees to lie flat over the boot lid, and its tint runs through five settings. Ferrari built 559 cars between 2005 and 2006. Because the roof stows flat rather than folding away, the boot keeps its volume with the car open, which a folding hardtop of the period did not manage.

The Superamerica is the open 575M, built at Maranello in the last two years of the model, and the name comes from the Superamerica coachbuilt cars of the 1950s and 1960s. The 599 GTB replaced the family.
