About the Ferrari 849 Testarossa

Unveiled in September 2025 as the successor to the SF90 Stradale, the 849 Testarossa takes its name from the racing Testa Rossa of the 1950s: 8 for the cylinders, 49 for the displacement of each in cubic centimetres. It comes as a berlinetta and a Spider, and the Assetto Fiorano package saves 30 kg.

The 849 Testarossa is built at Maranello, where production began in the middle of 2026, to a design by the Ferrari Styling Centre under Flavio Manzoni. Its lines take up the styling elements introduced by the F80, and the rear end is inspired by Ferrari's endurance prototypes of the 1970s, the 1970 512 S in particular.
