An E-series 246 GT completed in 1972 and supplied new to Germany, imported to Britain in 2011 by the Ferrari collector Stephen Pilkington, who bought it out of Sweden in poor condition and with the sole intention of rebuilding it completely.

Pilkington began the work alongside a 250 GTE: engine out, the car stripped in its entirety to bare metal and chassis, with the metalwork done by hand at Quest Autobody Repairs so the shape came back true. In 2016 the car was sold part-restored, with a collection of spares, to its present keeper, and the remaining work passed through a series of specialists before Hartwood Motors of Southport carried out final assembly. Luppi Tappezzeria of Modena trimmed the interior in Connolly 4208 Fawn hide against bodywork in Grigio Fumo.

The restoration was completed in 2023, after which the car joined a significant collection and was used sparingly. It was serviced and its carburettors tuned in May 2026 ahead of this sale, and passes through DK Engineering's own workshops as part of it. It comes with a history folio of invoices and restoration photographs and shows 23,400 km. Left-hand drive, manual.
