2015 McLaren P1 GTR Street Legal for Sale in United Arab Emirates

The dealer records 161 km, GCC specification, and describes the car as new.

The price is on request. The car is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The McLaren P1 GTR uses the 3.8-litre M838TQ twin-turbocharged V8 with an electric motor, the IPAS hybrid system of the road car raised for the track, rated at 1,000 PS combined, fifty more than the road car, with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox driving the rear wheels. The GTR is the track version of the P1: fixed suspension 50 mm lower on race springs, slick tyres, a fixed rear wing and a front splitter that together give ten per cent more downforce, and 50 kg less than the road car. McLaren built 58 GTRs and sold them only to owners of a P1, as part of a driving programme rather than as road cars. A handful have since been converted back to road use by specialists.

The P1 GTR was shown at Pebble Beach in 2014, fifty years after the first McLaren racing car, and it recalls the F1 GTR that won Le Mans in 1995.

FAQ

This McLaren P1 GTR in the European market

Can this McLaren be bought in the United Arab Emirates and registered elsewhere in Europe?

The car is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The dealer has not stated whether the price is quoted gross, net of VAT for export, or under the margin scheme. Cross-border purchase is normal for this kind of car, but the documentation, the certificate of conformity, transport and the registration rules of the destination country all have to be settled with the selling dealer first.

How does the mileage of this McLaren compare?

161 km recorded, against a median of 4,200 km across the McLaren advertised in Europe in 2026. It is therefore among the lower-mileage cars currently listed. Service history and previous owners are not published on LUSSO and should be confirmed with the selling dealer.

Who is selling this McLaren P1 GTR, and how does a purchase work?

Alain Class Motors, a professional dealer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. LUSSO lists the car and passes enquiries to that dealer; the inspection, the negotiation, the invoice and the transfer of ownership all take place directly between the buyer and the dealer. LUSSO does not hold stock, take deposits or act as an intermediary in payment.

Can this McLaren P1 GTR be inspected before purchase?

The car is at Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and an inspection is arranged with the selling dealer. Buyers based in another country commonly appoint an independent inspector or a marque specialist rather than travel. Ask the dealer for the service record, the number of previous owners and any accident history: LUSSO does not publish these and cannot confirm them.

Is this McLaren P1 GTR still available?

LUSSO republishes what the selling dealer advertises, and a car in demand is sometimes reserved or sold before the dealer updates its own site. Confirm current availability with Alain Class Motors before travelling or committing funds. An enquiry sent from this page reaches that dealer directly.

What is needed to register this car if it does not stay in the United Arab Emirates?

A cross-border registration normally requires the vehicle registration document, the certificate of conformity or an equivalent type-approval record, the purchase invoice showing the VAT treatment, and proof that any tax due in the destination country has been settled. Temporary export plates and transport insurance are arranged either by the dealer or by the buyer. Requirements differ by country and should be confirmed with the selling dealer before payment.

Where can I see the wider McLaren market?

LUSSO publishes a market overview for the P1 GTR, covering current asking prices in Europe, availability by country, why prices differ, how VAT works on a cross-border purchase and what to compare between two cars.
