Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC 5.0 for Sale

The 450 SLC 5.0 joined the C107 coupé line in September 1977 as a homologation model for rallying, with an aluminium bonnet and boot lid, a rubber rear spoiler and a small front lip; only 1,636 were built with the 500 SLC that replaced it in 1980.

Mercedes-Benz traces its line to the Benz Patent-Motorwagen of 1886 and has built cars under the three-pointed star since the Daimler and Benz companies merged in 1926. The S-Class has carried the marque's new technology into production since 1972, and the G-Class has been built at Graz by Magna Steyr since 1979.
