About the Mercedes-Benz SL

Seven generations, each known by its works code: W198 and W121 from 1954, the years of the 300 SL; the W113 Pagoda from 1963; the R107, which Mercedes built for eighteen years; then R129, R230, R231 and the R232 of 2022. The R230 of 2001 brought the Vario folding hardtop in place of a fabric roof.
