Mercedes-Benz SL 320 for Sale

The R129 has a multi-link rear axle and was the first Mercedes open car with a roll-over bar that deploys automatically within 0.3 seconds, behind A-pillars designed to resist buckling in a roll-over. Its integral seats carry the seat belt and the head restraint in the seat itself, which gives better lateral support than the seats used before.

The SL 320 was built from 1993 to 1998, 32,223 cars, before a V6 took its name; the R129 as a whole ran from 1989 to 2 July 2001.
