1973 Jaguar E-Type for Sale in Germany

This Jaguar E-Type Series III was first registered in January 1973, in the United States, and came to Germany in 2010. Its owner then spent about three years on a nut-and-bolt rebuild: the body was stripped back and rebuilt, and the engine, both axles, the brakes and the ignition were overhauled. It came out of that rebuild in Light Blue, a colour of its own decade, over dark blue leather with grey carpets and a light grey fabric hood, with chrome-rimmed dials and extra insulation between the engine bay and the cabin. The work was aimed at driving it: an additional thermostatic oil cooler, a reinforced radiator, fan, water pump and alternator, GAZ coilovers, braided brake lines, a five-speed Getrag gearbox with a reinforced clutch and a lightened flywheel, a limited-slip differential, and chrome wire wheels on knock-off hubs. A Classic Data appraiser graded it 1- in December 2025.
