The twentieth right-hand-drive E-type roadster built, known throughout its life by its registration ‘YRP 999’, and widely held to be the most raced E-type in existence.

Derek Wilkinson collected it on 25 July 1961. A friend of Lofty England and the owner of a parts business supplying Jaguar, he bought it to replace his Lola Mk1 and, short of time himself, put John Bekaert in it on England's advice. The car was entered in the 1961 Autosport series and was present at Oulton Park for the first race any E-type ever contested. It passed next to John Woolfe, of Woolferace wheels, who is understood to have brought it to early semi-lightweight specification with a Le Mans-style tank, extensive aluminium panelling and a D-type chronometric tachometer. Terry McGrath bought it in March 1969 and ran it under the Concross Racing Team banner alongside a D-type, a Connaught and a Lola, repainting it from dark green to dark blue.

It has since contested no fewer than eleven Goodwood Tourist Trophies. It is currently fitted with a race-specification 3.8-litre aluminium-block engine built by Init Racing, is fresh from a complete mechanical overhaul at Pursuit Racing, and comes with a thorough spares package including an iron-block engine and a differential.
