This 1974 Ferrari 308 GT4/LM is a used car. It is equipped with a manual transmission. The car is finished in N.A.R.T. livery, red, white and blue with a Blue interior.
Ferrari turned chassis 08020, an early 308 GT4, into the only GT4 ever prepared for Le Mans, at the request of the North American Racing Team run by Luigi Chinetti. The diet cut about 200 kg from the road car and the V8 rose to some 300 PS; it was tested in secret at Fiorano, where the Italian press nicknamed it the Dinotto.
In 1974 Jean-Louis Lafosse and Giancarlo Gagliardi qualified it 38th, before the clutch failed after 30 laps. In 1975 the organisers ruled it had not qualified, and Chinetti pulled his four Ferraris off the grid in protest. It returned to La Sarthe for the Le Mans Classic in 2004 and 2006.
The car is located in Oxford, United Kingdom.
The Ferrari 308 GT4/LM uses the 2,927 cc Dino V8 of the 308 GT4, mounted transversely behind the cabin, with four Weber 40 DCNF carburettors and parts from the 365 GTB/4 Daytona Competizione, rated at about 304 PS (224 kW) at 8,200 rpm, against 255 PS for the European road car, with a five-speed transaxle gearbox built in unit with the engine, driving the rear wheels.

The car is at Oxford, United Kingdom, and an inspection is arranged with the selling dealer. Buyers based in another country commonly appoint an independent inspector or a marque specialist rather than travel. Ask the dealer for the service record, the number of previous owners and any accident history, with supporting documents for the information stated in the listing.
LUSSO republishes what the selling dealer advertises, and a car in demand is sometimes reserved or sold before the dealer updates its own site. Confirm current availability with Girardo & Co. before travelling or committing funds. An enquiry sent from this page reaches that dealer directly.
A cross-border registration normally requires the vehicle registration document, the certificate of conformity or an equivalent type-approval record, the purchase invoice showing the VAT treatment, and proof that any tax due in the destination country has been settled. Temporary export plates and transport insurance are arranged either by the dealer or by the buyer. Requirements differ by country and should be confirmed with the selling dealer before payment.
LUSSO publishes a market overview for the 308 GT4/LM, covering current asking prices in Europe, availability by country, why prices differ, how VAT works on a cross-border purchase and what to compare between two cars.
