About the BMW 327

Ambi-Budd in Berlin supplied the streamlined bodies. The two-door 2+2 cabriolet has a windscreen split down the middle, a spare wheel hidden in the tail and a central lubrication system the driver works with a pedal while on the move.

BMW built the 327 at its Eisenach works from 1937 to 1941, 1,124 cabriolets with this engine; only 36 cars of the type left the works in 1941.
