Ferrari FXX K Evo for Sale

The Evo is an aerodynamic package fitted to cars already built: a reworked front fascia, a large rear wing and underbody diffusers raise downforce by 23 per cent over the FXX-K and by 75 per cent over the road-going LaFerrari, and the factory estimates the saving at 90 kg. Underneath sits the LaFerrari carbon fibre monocoque drawn by Rory Byrne, with double wishbones at the front and a multi-link rear. Four driving modes are picked from the centre console: Qualify for a short maximum effort, Long Run for distance, Fast Charge to refill the battery quickly, and Manual Boost, which releases engine and battery together. The E-Diff electronic differential, the F1-Trac traction control and the racing anti-lock brakes all come from Formula One practice.

The K stands for the kinetic energy recovery system. Forty FXX-K were built between 2015 and 2017, none of them road legal and none entered in competition; the Evo package was shown at the Finali Mondiali in Florence in October 2017, during Ferrari's seventieth anniversary. Owners drive them at track events the factory organises, and the data returns to Maranello.
