1964 Ferrari 250 GT 2+2 GTE Series III for Sale in the Netherlands

This 1964 Ferrari 250 GT 2+2 GTE Series III is a used car showing 16,839 km. It is equipped with a manual transmission. The car is finished in Silver with a Black interior.

M.G. Crepaldi, the Ferrari agent in Milan, supplied it new in 1963, shortly before its first registration, and it later spent many years in a Dutch Ferrari collection. It is a matching-numbers third-series car.

A leading Dutch 250 specialist restored it and overhauled the mechanicals completely. The body was taken to bare metal and repainted, the paint has aged very well, and a Webasto Tudor sunroof, probably fitted during the restoration, now gives an almost open feel. The original leather only needed its seats refilled and feeding; carpets and headlining are new, the suspension is recent, and a copy of the owner's manual comes with it.

The car is located in Brummen, Netherlands.

The Ferrari 250 GT 2+2 uses the 2,953 cc Colombo V12 with three Weber carburettors, rated at 240 PS (177 kW), with a four-speed manual gearbox driving the rear wheels. The GT/E was Ferrari's first four-seater built in numbers: Pinin Farina bodied 955 cars in three series, 299, 356 and 300 of them, on the 2,600 mm long-wheelbase chassis, with the engine moved forward to make room for the rear seats.
