Ferrari 250 GT 2+2 for Sale

The GT/E was Ferrari's first four-seater built in numbers: Pinin Farina bodied 955 cars in three series, 299, 356 and 300 of them, on the 2,600 mm long-wheelbase chassis, with the engine moved forward to make room for the rear seats.

After prototypes built in 1959, the 250 GT/E was formally introduced at the Paris Motor Show in October 1960 and stayed in production until 1963; the Series 2 arrived in 1961 and the Series 3 appeared at Geneva in 1963. It was followed by the 330 America, on the same chassis with the 4.0-litre engine of the 330 series.
