1971 Porsche 911 Rally for Sale in Germany

This 1971 Porsche 911 Rally is a used car showing 33,500 km. It is powered by a 2,500 cm³ petrol engine rated at 150 PS (110 kW). It is equipped with a manual transmission. The car is finished in Gulf Blue.

Bought in 2016 as an abandoned, complete but non-running restoration, this 1971 911 was rebuilt by Boxer Motor from 2016 to 2019 into a rally car to the 1971 911 S/T East African specification, and painted Gulf Blue. It now runs a 2.5-litre engine with short pistons and low compression; the seller lists a 2.9-litre conversion of about 160 PS.

The seller says it completed the whole 2019 Peking to Paris as number 82. Of some 33,000 km since the rebuild, 16,000 were on that event, the rest shakedown, training at Oschersleben in 2022 and 2023 and European touring. CarTech overhauled it in 2020, Classic Power in 2022, with rebuilt gearbox, new clutch and driveshafts.

The car is located in Ismaning, Germany.

FAQ

This Porsche 911 in the European market

Is this Porsche 911 priced above or below the European market?

At €249,000, it sits above the median of €179,950 for the 35 Porsche 911 advertised in Europe in 2026. 74% of them are advertised for less. Asking prices are not transaction prices, and specification differences explain much of the spread.

Can this Porsche 911 be bought in Germany and registered elsewhere in Europe?

The car is located in Ismaning, Germany. The dealer quotes it as: VAT included and not reclaimable: sold under the margin scheme. Cross-border purchase is normal for this kind of car, but the documentation, the certificate of conformity, transport and the registration rules of the destination country all have to be settled with the selling dealer first.

How does the mileage of this Porsche 911 compare?

33,500 km recorded, against a median of 30,750 km across the Porsche 911 advertised in Europe in 2026. It is therefore among the higher-mileage cars currently listed. Service records and ownership details should be checked against the documents held by the selling dealer.

Which other Porsche 911 are priced closest to this one?

a 2018 car in Germany at €238,750, and a 2021 car in Spain at €234,900. Observed in 2026. Comparing them means putting model year, mileage, factory options and the VAT basis side by side before the price itself.

Who is selling this Porsche 911, and how does a purchase work?

CarTech Knowledge, a professional dealer in Ismaning, Germany. LUSSO lists the car and passes enquiries to that dealer; the inspection, the negotiation, the invoice and the transfer of ownership all take place directly between the buyer and the dealer. LUSSO does not hold stock, take deposits or act as an intermediary in payment.

Can this Porsche 911 be inspected before purchase?

The car is at Ismaning, Germany, and an inspection is arranged with the selling dealer. Buyers based in another country commonly appoint an independent inspector or a marque specialist rather than travel. Ask the dealer for the service record, the number of previous owners and any accident history, with supporting documents for the information stated in the listing.

Is this Porsche 911 still available?

LUSSO republishes what the selling dealer advertises, and a car in demand is sometimes reserved or sold before the dealer updates its own site. Confirm current availability with CarTech Knowledge before travelling or committing funds. An enquiry sent from this page reaches that dealer directly.
