About the Ferrari 575M Maranello

The gearbox sits at the rear axle rather than behind the engine, which is what a transaxle layout buys: the mass moves back and the front-engined car balances like a mid-engined one. Ferrari built 2,056 cars, of which 246 had a clutch pedal.
