About the Ferrari Dino 246 GTS

The GTS, added in 1972, is the 246 with a removable targa roof panel stowed behind the seats, on the same tubular steel chassis and wheelbase as the GT. Production from 1969 to 1974 totalled 2,295 GT coupés, 1,431 of them Series III cars, and 1,274 GTS.

Ferrari sold it under the Dino marque, named after Enzo Ferrari's late son Alfredo, and kept the Ferrari name for its twelve-cylinder models until 1976.
