About the BMW 525d

From late 2011 the 525d name moved from a six-cylinder to this four-cylinder engine, which kept the same 450 Nm of torque while gaining 14 PS over the 204 PS straight-six it replaced. The Touring estate version of the F10 was unveiled at the 2010 Leipzig motor show.

BMW built the F10 5 Series, with the F11 Touring alongside it, at Dingolfing from January 2010 to February 2017, with a facelift entering production in July 2013.
