About the Porsche 356 C

The 356 C is hard to tell from the late 356 B: the giveaway is its plainer perforated wheels, changed because Porsche now fitted disc brakes to all four wheels of every production car. The steel box-section frame is welded to the body, the wheelbase measures 2,100 mm and the coupé weighs 935 kg.

The C was the last series of the 356, built from 1963 to 1965 as a coupé and a cabriolet in 16,678 examples, alongside the first 911. In 1965 the 912 took over as the entry-level Porsche.

Market overview

The available examples are all from the 1964 model year.
