About the Porsche Panamera

Three generations: the 970 from 2009, the 971 from 2016 and the 976 from 2024. The engine range has been wide throughout. The first cars offered a 3.6-litre naturally aspirated V6 at 296 hp, a 4.8-litre V8 at 395 and the same V8 twin-turbocharged at 493, then a 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel and hybrids. The 971 turned everything turbocharged, and plug-in hybrids run through both later generations.

Porsche has produced the Panamera at Leipzig since 2009. The first generation's bodies came from Hanover until 2016; since the 971, the car has sat on the Volkswagen Group's MSB platform and is built entirely at Leipzig, as a liftback saloon and as the Sport Turismo.
