Porsche 968 for Sale

Porsche counted 80 per cent of the 968 as new, yet the chassis came from the 944 S2: Brembo four-piston calipers with ventilated discs, ABS, aluminium semi-trailing arms and front A-arms in a MacPherson strut layout. Harm Lagaay gave it exposed pop-up headlamps in the manner of the 928, a front that the 911 of the 993 generation would echo, and driver and passenger airbags as standard.

Porsche built the 968 as a coupé and a convertible at Zuffenhausen from 1991 to 1995, bringing production home from Audi's Neckarsulm plant; it closed the 924 and 944 line and was Porsche's last new front-engined car before the 2003 Cayenne.
