About the Porsche Cayenne

Four generations since 2002, known by their codes 9PA, 92A, 9YA and the electric X1A of 2026. The platform is shared across the Volkswagen group with the Touareg, the Audi Q7 and Q8, the Bentayga and the Urus. The engine range has been very wide: V6, V8 and diesel from 250 to 550 PS on the first cars, hybrids from the second, and on the third all engines turbocharged, from 260 to 739 PS.

The Cayenne is the model that took Porsche into the SUV market and paid for much of what followed. Assembly runs at Bratislava with finishing at Leipzig, and global deliveries reached 102,889 cars in 2024. Porsche has built cars at Zuffenhausen since 1950.
